A LITTLE LATE BUT WORTH THE WAIT!

Kohen Jeremy Atkinson finally arrived June 29th @ 10:39am. He was 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. He was due June 22nd so I ended up being induced. I was a nervous wreck the night we went in, they kept putting us off telling us to keep calling. Finally we were able to go in around 10pm. Everything got started around midnight, I got my epidural around 3:30 so I was able to sleep through the whole night. I woke up to my doc coming in around 8am and she said it was time to go! I pushed for about 2 hours and little Kohen was in my arms!! What and AMAZING feeling! There are absolutely no words to describe the delivery! There is no other experience like it in the world! And to top it off, after he was weighed and wiped up, he was placed on my chest and greeted me and Jeremy with the biggest smile! I would go through those two hours all over again just to experience those moments! Kohen is now 5 weeks old and has been a great baby! He is totally easy going and greets me with smiles almost every morning!
This is a terrible picture but it is right before I was about to start pushing. I was exhausted even after being able to sleep. I had no idea how exhausted I was about to become... :)

Enough jibber jabber.... here are some pics.

This was one of Kohen's first smiles for mom and dad... His smiles melt my heart!

We were wondering how Koda would react to a new baby... I think he approves.

Our new little family! We love our little guy and can't imagine our lives without him!
